Dancing with the stars WII/DS

Wii-DVD plans on hold. TV on the DS?

Whilst Nintendo may have been planning to allow Wii owners to play DVD’s on their consoles from the very first day, plans were thought to have been temporarily put on hold whilst Nintendo ironed out one or two undisclosed issues. Now, however, it would appear that the potential DVD-compatible version of Wii could be even further away than everyone actually thought.


Nintendo DS owners in Japan, as Nikkei is reporting the company has confirmed it will be giving the 1-seg TV Tuner (that allows Japanese DS users to view digital television broadcasts) for the Nintendo DS a full-scale retail release next month, in July, following a overwhelming response to online sales.
