Complete Information and Guide on Wii Controller

Wii Remote Controller - 4 Reasons Why the Wii Remote Controller Has Made the Wii So Popular

The Wii remote controller, affectionately known as the Wii mote, has changed the way everyone wants to play video games. With its sensor capability, the remote controller brings players right into the heart of the action, and makes games a real thrill to play.

When Nintendo created the Wii, it wanted a games system that anyone could just pick up and play. It did this by letting players control games by simply waving the remote controller around - a brilliant idea!

Most video game controllers have lots of buttons scattered around the controller. It takes time and practice getting used to these complicated controllers, but the Wii mote is different.

The Wii remote only has 2 main buttons. To control your actions in the game, simply point your controller at the screen and move it left and right, up and down. The characters follow any movements you make directly in the game.

Here are 4 reasons why the Wii has become so popular, and they're all because of the Wii mote controller...

The Wii's controller makes the Wii games really easy for anyone to pick up and play, without having to remember what all the different buttons are for. The Wii lets family and friends of all skill levels and gaming experience play together. With the Wii controller, new gamers don't feel like they're playing a game of finger twister trying to press all the buttons on the controller.

Whether you're playing tennis, racing around in Mario Kart, or swinging a lightsaber in Star Wars, the remote controller makes you feel like you're right in the game. You're not just sitting and playing the game, with the Wii mote you're actually a part of it!

Playing Wii games with the Wii mote gives you a bit of a workout. Wii Sports, Wii Fit and a host of other games build up quite a sweat. A professional Major League Baseball player recently lost 25 pounds just by playing on the Wii.

There are lots of accessories and peripherals for the Wii controller that make the gaming experience even more realistic. Clip the remote controller into a tennis racket or golf club for playing Wii Sports, or put the remote into a steering wheel for playing your favourite racing game. There's even a glowing lightsaber attachment for playing Star Wars games.

The Wii remote makes the Wii a unique and thrilling gaming experience for all ages. The controller is simple to master and puts you right in the middle of the game. You'll be the star of the show when you hit that winning shot, beat up the bad guys or win the big race - all while getting a bit of exercise too!

All About Wii Controller Attachments

Wii Controller Attachments are little snap or slide on pieces, usually made of plastic, that resemble objects used in the game you are playing. These controller attachments include the Wii Bat, Wii Fishing Rod and Wii Tennis Racket. They can make many of the Wii games more fun and enjoyable to play, they can also help you, in some cases, perform the motion.

Wii Bats

Batters up with a Bat for the Wii. Wii bat attachments usually connect to the Wii Remote near the base of the bat. When you attach the remote to the bat you are forced to hold it like a bat, it may not seem natural without the attachment to hold the controller like this.

Wii Fishing Rods

Reel em' in with a Wii Fishing Rod. Once you snap your Wii Mote and Wii Nunchuck into the Wii Fishing Rod Attachment you will feel a lot more comfortable playing just about any fishing game. In any game where you are actually required to do the reeling motion this will help greatly because with the nunchuck snug in its cradle you can easily rotate it without going out side the axis or having your hand go all over the place. Basically it just makes it a lot easier to do the reeling motion because you have something to hold on to.

Wii Tennis Rackets and Wii Ping Pong Paddles

Your serve. With a Wii Tennis racket you'll have them running all over the court. Like the Wii Bat the Tennis Raquet will just force you to hold the Wiimote in the correct way which should make it a lot easier to play any of the tennis simulation games.

Wii Steering Wheels

Take turns like a pro with one of the many advanced Wii Steering Wheels available. Wii steering wheels come in the widest variety in terms of Wii controller attachments. From the official Mario Kart Wii wheel to the advanced 6-axis realistic steering wheel it all depends on your style. One thing is for certain the wheel makes it a lot more realistic. The only suggestions I have for the official wheel is that they make it in different sizes ( child, teen, adult ) or an adjustable one.

Wii Guns

Shoot em' up with a Wii Gun! Make the precision of the Wiimote even more precise in any shooting game, use sights, lasers and more to take out your target. Wii gun attachments can greatly help in Wii gun games by giving the simulation of actually holding a gun. Usually the trigger is pressed when you press the trigger on the gun, the difference being that the remote and nunchuck are held in place and out of the way for you.

Wii Boxing Gloves

Give your hands a break with these Wii Boxing Gloves and Wii Sparring Gloves, these gloves will keep your hand in the "clenched" positon for you so you dont have to clench your fists constantly on anything. The remote slides into the palm area or can be attached to the back of the gloves so they're completely out of the way.
