You will be asked to pay a small membership fee, but is isn't expensive (about $50) and will get you unlimited downloads. You just have to log-in and can then download any game (or other file) for free.

There are a few websites that also charge monthly fees or "per-download" fees - stay away from them. The best websites will only charge a one-time fee for unlimited downloads for the rest of the time you own your Wii. The setup is extremely easy and only takes about 3 minutes. You can start downloading and using games or movies right away. You membership also includes the software you need to be able to transfer the files for use on your Wii.
