he latest Wii update has reportedly been crashing consoles.
Firmware update 4.2, designed to removed unofficial homebrew software from the system, has been unexpectedly freezing consoles during the download.
Gamers who have had their console frozen then cannot start the system after a reboot, according to The Escapist.
Users on the Nintendo technical support forum said that people without homebrew software installed have also been affected.
The issue has only impacted a small proportion of users, with the majority successfully updating their systems with no problems. Source: http://gaming.hexus.net
