When Windows 7 was first released it was soon discovered that there was an unfinished feature that allows you to create a wifi hotspot that you can share with other people or devices.

Why would you need Connectify?
There are a few reasons why you would need Connectify. It is perfect for homes which don’t have a wireless router, for example if you have a Cable Modem you can use Connectify to share the connection to other devices over WiFI including mobile phones, games consoles and more.
You can also use Connectify on the move, for example if you have a 3G Dongle connected on your laptop you can also connect your mobile phone to the same connection using the laptop as a wifi hotspot.
