How to get an Apple OSX Style Dock in Windows

One thing I like about the Apple OSX Operating System is the Dock which is on the bottom of the OSX Desktop. I find it easy to navigate and customise.

As much as I like the Apple OSX Dock I just can’t justify spending huge sums of money on a Mac. This is when I started looking for a Windows Alternative, this led me to RocketDock.

RocketDock is a great FREE Application that has all if not more functions of the Apple OSX Dock, but is designed to run in Windows. It provides a nice clean interface to drop shortcuts on for easy access and organisation. With each item completely customisable there is no end to what you can add and launch from the dock.

Features:

Minimize windows to the dockReal-time window previews in VistaRunning application indicatorsSimple drag-n-drop interfaceMulti-monitor supportSupports alpha-blended PNG and ICO iconsIcons zoom and transition smoothlyAuto-hide and Popup on mouse overPositioning and layering optionsFully customizableCompletely PortableObjectDock Docklet supportCompatible with MobyDock, ObjectDock, RK Launcher, and Y’z Dock skinsRuns great on slower computersUnicode compliantSupports many languages and can easily be translated

On the RocketDock website it states that it is not compatible with 64bit Operating Systems, but I am running it fine on Windows 7 x64, so see how you get on.
