Ever heard of the Nintendo Wii? The Nintendo Wii is a state of the art video game system which uses motion sensing technology. Because of this unique feature, most of the games that are played on the Nintendo Wii system are also unique in nature. In this article, I will be highlighting some of the Wii games that I simply love.
One of the more popular games for the Nintendo Wii is the Wii fit game. This game is about keeping your body fit though the use of guided exercises. Before you start, you would have to use the balancing board included in the game to allow the program to take and keep track of your weight. The Wii balancing board can also be used for other activities within the game. For example, there is this concentration game where you are supposed to sit down cross legged on the board and concentrate on a flickering candle for a certain amount of time. The balancing board can also be used to play a tightrope game where you have to get from one rooftop to another, overhanging the streets below! Then there is also another game where you use the board to get a ball though holes within many platforms.
Another Wii game which I like is Wii sports. Wii sports has been such a success that it has released a sequel known as Wii sports resorts. While Wii fit is about keeping your body fit and playing around with the Wii balancing board, Wii sports is about playing all kinds of sports using the Wii motion controller. For example, your Wii remote transforms into a boat padded as you play in a boating race. Play against other players or try to beat your best timings in cooperative modes. Then there are also other sports to play such as archery or even table tennis! All this can be done simply by using your Wii remote otherwise known as the Wii-mote in creative ways!
I am sure there are plenty of fun Wii games out there and there will be at least a few which you will appreciate and love to play.
