Here is my little dillema.
My wii is softmodded on V. 4.2u, and have WiiFlow, HBC, etc ALL working.
Yesterday, a buddy came over with guitar hero, and my wii wouldnt recognize the disc.
Was saying it needed a disc update.
So after numerous attempts at work arounds on trying to get the game to play I said screw it and performed the disc update. Now when I try and play a game off of my HD from wiiflow, it says that my HD isnt plugged in. I tried restarting, and trying both USB ports. Nothing worked?
What exactly did this Disc update do?
Anyone know a fix for my issue?
Thank you.
you will have to reinstall some cios, and should really add priiloader to your wii to block disc and online updatesNew Member Join DateJan 2010Posts4Thanks0Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts

How would I have gone about playing guitar hero without updating from disc? Thanks
if you can post a syscheck, we can help you. Priiloader will make your wii skip the updates on your discs.
Follow the softmod guide for your system menu to re-install everything and priiloader.

Follow the softmod guide for your system menu to re-install everything and priiloader. I was kinda leaning toward that.
I guess thats what I will doQuick question though.
What is the best method for getting games like guitar hero, and rock band to recognize hardware like the guitar and drums when loaded from USB?
